Contact Useful by Friday

Have a question about an article, a correction to suggest, or an ordinary task you would like covered? I welcome specific feedback that helps make Useful by Friday more useful.

Questions about an article

Please include the article title or link and the step you are trying to follow. Tell me what you expected, what happened instead, and which GPT model or tool you used, if relevant.

A short example is helpful. Use invented or sanitized details rather than sending a complete work file.

Corrections and updates

If a statement appears incorrect or a product detail has changed, please point to the sentence or section and explain the issue. A link to the current official documentation, with the relevant date or version, makes it easier to assess the correction.

For a calculation or data example, identify the input, the rule, and the result you think needs another look.

Suggest a workflow

The most useful suggestions start with a real task:

  • What are you trying to finish?

  • Where does the current process become difficult?

  • What would a usable result look like?

  • What constraints would the workflow need to respect?

You do not need a polished prompt. A clear description of the job is a better starting point.

Collaboration inquiries

For a relevant collaboration proposal, introduce yourself, explain the connection to the site's readers, and describe what you are proposing. Please identify any commercial relationship, requested deliverables, and timing.

Before sending

Please leave out passwords, account credentials, customer identifiers, confidential workplace records, and private information about other people. A brief description is enough for an initial message.

If you are sharing an experience, say whether you are offering it as background or proposing it for an article. Include only material you have permission to share.

For account access, billing, or a product-service problem, contact the relevant provider's support team. Useful by Friday focuses on editorial questions and practical workflows.

Thank you for helping make the next guide clearer.
